Pediatric Acute-onset Neuro-Psychiatric Syndrome (PANS)
Anecdotally, parents have reported seeing a connection between exposure to problematic environments and PANS/PANDAS symptom ‘flare ups’. With this in mind, the following resources may be helpful in appreciating the legitimacy of the PANS/PANDAS diagnosis and the anecdotal link to mould exposure. No literature is available about this connection. However, it may be worthwhile to consider that improvements to your child’s environment may improve their symptoms.
